Travis Scheadler

Travis Scheadler recently completed his PhD at The Ohio State University and is now an Assistant Professor in the School of Social Work. His research focuses on activism, community connectedness, mental health, and identity development among athletes, coaches, and LGBTQ+ populations. Currently, he is working on projects related to building community connectedness and improving mental health supports within LGBTQ+ adult recreational sport spaces. He also is working on projects related to activism among LGBTQ+ adults. Travis and his partner (Stefan) have a French bulldog and are excited to explore Charlotte!
